About Me

Queenie  V  Lathan is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio specializing in PTSD, issues related to abuse and trauma, spirituality, and issues specific to women and children.   She practices mental health counseling and specializes in Christian Counseling performing individual and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Warren, OH.  She is the Founder of Restored Hope Counseling Services, LLC.

With over 8 years experience in general practice and Pastoral Counseling.  She also serves in community mental health working with children, adolescents, and adults providing therapy as an outpatient counselor.  She is a Certified EMDR Therapist, and currently works with a broad spectrum of clients.  Among her areas of expertise are Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, and Grief/Loss.

In addition to being a therapist, Queenie has conducted seminars and presented within her community and churches on such topics as:  Mental Health Issues in the Church, Mental Health Issues in the Minority Community, Breaking Unhealthy Family Cycles, Youth Leadership Conference "Knowing Your Identity in Christ", and Spiritual Enrichment Seminar "Suffering in Ministry" .  She has taught general teaches on subjects such as:  Unlocking Family Patterns, Battlefield of the Mind, Boundaries, and Temperaments - "Understanding why you behave the way you do".  Queenie has facilitated supports groups for grief/loss (GriefShare).  She has taught Biblical courses (Evangelical Training Association) on such topics as: Teaching for Results, The Life of Christ, and Understanding Teaching

Queenie is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
